There is time to explore major cities such as Beijing, Ulaanbaatar and Moscow. Discovery Mongolia-the Land of Genghis Khan forming the Mongol Empire, the largest contiguous land empire in world history. It's an incredible, unforgettable journey to the three unique lands.

  • Day 1

    Day 1: Beijing

    On arrival in Beijing, you'll transfer to your hotel ahead of two days to discover Beijing. By hotels policy check-in time is after 14:00. Overnight at Novotel Xinqiao hotel 4* or similar.

  • Day 2

    Day 2: Beijing

    There is plenty to see and to do here in your own, including the famous locations as the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven and numerous parts of the Great Wall of China. Overnight at Novotel Xinqiao hotel 4* or similar.

  • Day 3

    Day 3: Trans-Mongolian Railway to Ulaanbaatar

    Board the train to depart Mongolia. Continuing south the train towards to the Chinese-Mongolian border Earlian-Zamin Uud, where after formalities the train crosses into Mongolian territory then continues to the famous Gobi desert. Night on train.

  • Day 2

    Day 4: Ulaanbaatar-Terelj National Park

    Having arrived in Ulaanbaatar Mongolian capital, you'll transfer directly to Terelj National Park (approx. 70kms/44miles) to spend a night in a traditional Mongolian Gers Camp.

  • Day 3

    Day 5: Terelj National Park-Great Statue of Genghis Khan-Ulaanbaatar

    After the lunch, you'll head back to Ulaanbaatar with time at leisure to explore the city. In route, we visit the Great Statue of Chinggis or Genghis Khan. The Genghis or Chinggis Khaan Main Square, Gandan monastery and the National History Museum-where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present, are amongst the sights you might want to explore. Overnight at hotel 3*.

  • Day 6

    Days 6-7: Trans-Siberian Railway to Irkustk

    Trans-Siberian Railway to Irkutsk. Crossing Mongolian/Russian borders. Enjoy the scenery of Siberia from the vantage of the picture window in your compartment. Night on train.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 6

    Day 8: Irkutsk-Listvyanka village-Baikal Lake

    After two days on the train, you'll arrive in Irkutsk, before being transferred to your hotel in Listvyanka village. In route, visit the Taltsy museum. Relaxing day in the village of Listvyanka by beautiful Lake Baikal. Lunch in local restaurant. Discover stunning Lake Baikal (Siberia's blue pearl). The Baikal is the deepest lake in the world and holds more than 20 percent of the world's fresh water. Overnight at hotel 3*.

  • Day 6

    Day 9: Lake Baikal-Irkutsk-Trans-Siberian Railway to Moscow

    You'll have chance to explore the area round the world's largest and deepest freshwater lake, with a visit to the Limnological Museum being an option for those who wish to learn more about the area. Optional walking tour (trekking) to Chersky peak. Lunch. In the afternoon, return to Irkustk. Free time in your own. Meet and transfer to the Irkustk Railway Station to board the evening train at 06:47 P.M. to start the journey towards the Russian capital Moscow. Night on train.

  • Day 6

    Days 10-12: Trans-Siberian Railway to Moscow

    Across Russia with stops at important cities along the way. Enjoy the scenery of Siberia and the Ural Mountains from the vantage of the picture window in your compartment. Passing Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and other cities. Nights on train.

     

     

     

     

  • Day 6

    Day 13: Moscow

    On arrival in Yaroslavsky Railway Station in the Russian capital in the evening, you'll transfer to your hotel ahead of two days to discover Moscow. Overnight at hotel 3*.

  • Day 6

    Day 14: Moscow

    There is plenty to see and to do here in your own, including Moscow's Red Central Square, the Kremlin, the Art galleries, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Moscow Metro. Overnight at hotel 3*.

  • Day 6

    Day 15: Departure Russia or Post tour

    Breakfast at hotel. Free time in your own in Moscow. Check-out time from the hotel is at 12:00 M. Transfer to the Moscow airport. Tour ends or Post tour to San Petersburg (*on request at least 90 days prior your arrival!).
